For loading and offloading ships and containers Fast Terminals use specialist dock cranes to perform this activity fast and efficiently however communication with such cranes was the missing link.  This is when Fast Terminals contacted Lynn Communications and our expert team of engineers designed a simple cost effective communication system that works for Fast Terminals with zero down time.

Our Solution:

Following tests and trials we supplied digital Motorola DM4400e which was installed by our installation team in the various cranes and vehicles used by Fast Terminals.  These rugged radios offer superb audio quality meaning workers can use them in the noisiest environments.

For the ground crew and general operatives we supplied Motorola Dp1400 with Peltor Headsets for ear protection and to ensure every single radio transmission is heard and not missed due to high noise levels.

All radios were programmed by our expert engineers in conjunction with Fast Terminals to ensure management and staff can talk privately to individuals or call up selected work groups from their desk base station.

The staff remarked how easy both radios were to operate – even when wearing gloves.  Also for long shifts, the powerful lithium ion battery in the Motorola Dp1400 delivers extra talk time without the need to recharge.
