If the radio user does not check in at the expected time, they are initially reminded with a pre alarm warning. If this pre alarm warning is not acknowledged by pressing the PTT button, an emergency alarm will alert their colleagues or controller.

This alarm can be configured in the form of a prerecorded voice message, text or audible alarm.
